Non-Destructive Testing
Radiographic Testing (RT)
Capable of both digital and film radiography. Applicable when there is a need to verify metallic or composite products are free of internal flaws. (NADCAP Accredited/TUV Certified personnel)
Penetrant Testing (PT)
Applicable when there is a need to verify metallic products are free of fine surface flaws. We are able to perform all methods of this type of testing (A, B, C & D) in sensitivity levels 1-4. We can perform this test at our facility and in the field as well. (NADCAP Accredited/TUV Certified personnel)
Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)
Applicable when there is a need to verify ferromagnetic products (ex. mild or tool steel) are free of fine surface flaws. We can perform this test using our horizontal bench unit that has a 6000 amp capacity or portable AC yolks. We can perform this test at our facility and in the field as well.
Visual Testing (VT)
Capable of locating surface flaws and verifying dimensional tolerances.
Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
A-scan (conventional), Phased Array and thickness capabilities. Applicable when there is a need to verify metallic or composite products are free of sub surface flaws or verify material thickness.
Eddy-Current Testing (ET)
Applicable when there is a need to verify metallic products are free of fine surface flaws such as cracking or pitting. This process is commonly performed on tubing or other fine machined parts. Applications include: alloy sorting, conductivity, and coating thickness.
Pressure Testing
Hydrostatic/Gas Pressure – Applicable when proof pressure test is required. Our equipment has a capacity of 60,000 psi for hydro and 22,000 psi for gas . We are capable of performing this test in a clean room environment when required.
Helium Leak – Applicable when there is a need to verify that welded or machined products are free of fine leaks. Our equipment is capable of measuring leak rates down to 10-9.
Burst Test – We have the capability to safely pressurize vessels to failure with both gas and water.
Concrete Radiography/GPR
Applicable when needed to aid concrete coring or drilling operations. We are capable of radiographing or scanning concrete slabs up to 16” thick to verify location of reinforcing steel, post tension cables, electrical conduit and much more.

Decisive Testing Inc. Quality system is accredited to the standards of IS0 17025, ISO 9001 and AS9100. We are NADCAP accredited in the areas of Penetrant Testing (PT) and Radiographic Testing (RT).
Personnel Qualifications
All of our NDT inspectors are certified in accordance with ASNT-SNT-TC-1A and NAS-410. We have TUV and ACCP certified technicians in the areas of Radiographic Testing and Penetrant Testing as well as Certified Welding Inspectors certified to AWS QC1.
